This one is just too funny, folks!
In today’s chaotic and ever-so-politically-stressful world, CNN has just provided us with a classic moment of much-needed comic relief.
As CNN’s ratings continue to suffer, apparently so does their on-camera coordination.
The hurricane coverage team had an extremely awkward moment this Monday morning. The Fake News Network cut back to a live split shot of reporters John Berman and Chris Cuomo and anchor Poppy Harlow.
As their dramatic Breaking News music played for seconds on end, the team stared blankly at the cameras in complete silence.
I guess it is hard to have to come up with fake news ALL the time.
Watch the hilarious CNN fail here.
According to the Daily Caller:
CNN had an awkward moment of silence on Monday when they cut back from commercial to their on-the-ground coverage of Hurricane Irma.
John Berman and Chris Cuomo are reporting from Florida, while anchor Poppy Harlow is in the CNN studio, and they clearly weren’t sure which of the four of them was supposed to open when CNN got back from commercial.
CNN flashed their “breaking news” banner, but then the group sat in silence for ten seconds before John Berman finally realized someone should be doing the talking.
“Alright, I’m John Berman in Miami, Poppy Harlow in New York, and Chris Cuomo in Naples, Florida, this is CNN’s special live coverage of Hurricane Irma, now Tropical Storm Irma,” Berman finally said after the agonizing silence.
It’s unclear if this was a communication error or if Berman and Cuomo’s earpieces were delayed, but we would challenge anyone not to feel a little uncomfortable during this moment.
While the circumstances behind the blunder remain unclear, it sure was some much needed entertainment at an otherwise stressful time for the entire country.
And no news is definitely good news coming from the lying mainstream media!
THIS segment I can watch over, and over again!
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but thank you CNN. For once I am not mad after watching for 10 seconds!
I know people make mistakes, but this must be a nice dose of karma for all they do to deceive and distract the public, don’t you think?
Share if you agree. The country needs a good laugh.
