We all need a good laugh once in a while, folks.
Thank God for CNN.
CNN is the leading provider of fake news worldwide, rivaled by the likes of NBC, CBS, ABC, and other bought-out-by-the-left networks that install talking-head puppets to recite talking points that deceive and distract the American public.
CNN is nothing but a tool of the left, distorting the truth to help pave the way for elitist leftists to usher in an anti-American agenda that benefits them personally.
However, they are capable of providing some good old knee-slapping entertainment from time to time.
Take their latest ad campaign, for instance.
CNN is ‘fighting back’ against the allegations that it spreads fake news by launching a new ‘Facts First’ ad campaign that highlights their commitment to providing us all with the facts, first.
Like the ‘fact’ that Hillary had a 93% chance of winning the presidency in 2016.
Like the ‘fact’ that President Trump wasn’t wiretapped by Obama during the 2016 campaign.
This is like the person you know that keeps on telling you that they are smart. If they have to tell you that they are smart, over and over and over again, chances are they are not smart.
According to Breitbart:
CNN is railing against repeated claims of propagating fake news with a new ad promoting their commitment to “facts first.”
“This is an apple,” the narrator says. “Some people might try to tell you that it’s a banana. They might scream, ‘banana, banana, banana,’ over and over and over again. They might put BANANA in all caps. You might even start to believe that this is a banana. But it’s not. This is an apple.
The closing image is CNN’s logo accompanied by the slogan “Facts first.”
The ad is likely an attempt to repair the network’s damaged reputation in recent months following regular accusations of propagating fake news. In June, three employees resignedfrom after the network was following a Breitbart News investigation into a false hit piece on President Donald Trump and his associates.
On Monday, multiple figures the company including White House correspondent Jim Acosta and TV anchor Don Lemon tweeted out the ad.
So, the bigger problem here isn’t mainstream media bias or their hatred of President Trump and patriotic Americans, but that the sheer ignorance of their viewer base requires them to feel the need to explain what the “truth” (CNN’s opinion) is at a grade-school level.
Yeah. Good luck with that one.
This is the “if you scream racist over and over again, it makes it true” tactic. We’ve seen this before.
Nice try CNN. But, too late. RIP.
Maybe they should have called their ad campaign “Fake First.”
